Founded in 2004, FOTD Fellowship is a group of
Dhammafarers and volunteers in Penang who
drew deep inspiration from the Buddha and the
Dhamma, (the Truth)! His unrelenting persistence
leading to His successful realisation of the Truth
(Enlightenment) followed by his tireless and
selfless 45 years of missionary work stands as a
tall but stirring inspiration for us.
In the footsteps of the Buddha, FOTD Fellowship
aspires to promote the learning, practice and
realisation of the Truth (or Dhamma) for the benefit
of all sentient beings. Truth is our goal; with
liberation as the result. And in Serving the
Dhamma, we believe in doing it with Great Love &

| BACKGROUND Dato’ Dr. G.K. Ananda Kumaraseri has had a distinguished diplomatic career (1966-1995) which included the rare distinction of setting up and heading the Centre for International Relations and Strategic Studies (1979-1981) for the Malaysian public service. This assignment stimulated his interest in education, human resource development and training technology. He was appointed High Commissioner to Nigeria in 1984 and retired as Director General ASEAN in 1995. |
| PROLIFIC AUTHOR & MUCH SOUGHT-AFTER DHAMMA SPEAKER Since then he has authored several notable books on important subjects such as the cultivation of human values, personal development, holistic education and peace. He is a much sought-after Dhamma Speaker in Malaysia and overseas too. It is heartening to see more Buddhists, monastic and laity, voluntarily take on the responsibility to organise resources and to
teach the Dhamma. Too many Buddhists just receive without considering giving, which is the greater of the two actions.
